I’ve saved a few photos that I captured with my 10mm f/2.8 that I thought were kind of interesting, including this one. But more than any other lens, what I wind up with when I upload everything looks far different than I thought I would get.

And no, not because of the distortion. I like the distortion…if I can make it work in the frame. I like big, open wide angle shots with big beautiful clouds. Clouds offer depth and color, and most important, a sense of the enormous SIZE of the visible sky.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve seen some breathtaking photos on sites like Flickr and 500px. Have you seen some of those landscapes? I’ve been pretty pleased with quite a few shots over the years, but to get something that looks like one of those is my bucket list.
